The Bulk Edit feature enables users to select multiple Requirements, Activities, or Tasks for simultaneous updates using Shift-click or Ctrl-click. Users can then right-click, choose "Apply Bulk Edit," and modify various fields in a pop-up window, streamlining the update process for selected items.
The Bulk Edit functionality allows users to multi-select Requirements from the Requirements page and Activities or Tasks from the Activities page for Bulk Updates. This is useful while updating multiple Requirements, Activities or Tasks.
To get started, here are some important keyboard shortcuts to consider.
- Shift-Click: A Shift-Click will select all rows from the first row select down to the row that the Shift-Click is applied to, to allow users to select a range of rows.
- Ctrl-Click: A Ctrl-Click on a row will add the selected to the list of selected rows individually.
- Click: Just a click on a row will only select that row AND will also clear any previously selected rows as part of the multi-select.
How to Use the Bulk Edit Feature
- Shift-click or Ctrl-click to select the items you would like to edit. (They will appear blue once selected)
- Right-click on the blue selected items, and click "Apply Bulk Edit"
- In the resulting pop-up window, check the boxes for the fields you would like to edit and enter your changes.
- Click the blue "Apply Bulk Edits" button in the lower right corner of the pop-up to save your changes.
A variety of fields can be bulk edited through the Requirements and Activities page.
- Requirements
- Details, Note, Verification Date, Expiry Date, Verification Link, Renewal, Designated Rep (PIC), and Requirement Status.
